I Have a Dream...

Growing up as someone who suffered from eczema, I was committed to finding a skin care solution that was natural, affordable, and that actually worked. In January 2018, I was diagnosed with Graves' disease, causing me to reconsider the only career I had known as an educator. In June of that same year, I discovered I was pregnant! That was the life changing event I needed to push me to focus on the dreams that I had since I was a little girl.
I went to work in my kitchen in search of the perfect skin care recipe. After much research, trial and error, I felt that I had created something that was to my satisfaction. I had succeeded in creating something that was strong enough for my problem skin yet gentle enough for the rest of my family. As I began to distribute samples as gifts or party favors, I received amazing feedback letting me know that this could be my pathway to entrepreneurship, as well as creating generational wealth and legacy for my family.
At a young age, I knew that I was born to insight change. As an African American woman, wife, mother, leader, servant, activist, and warrior, it is important to me to not only build generational wealth within my family but to also help rebuild and strengthen our communities of color.
